Carol’s floristry journey began at a young age with flower arranging and she enjoyed it so much that when the lightbulb moment came she just knew - Flowers were what she wanted to work with, and that is exactly what she has done from that day to this. “I just love flowers, they’re so artistic, I love it” everyday is different and I never know what is going to be asked for. Studying for her qualifications City & Guilds in Floristry I, II and III studied and achieved in a London college.

Eager to become established, she set up in the existing shop premises of a greengrocer. Selling beautiful floral arrangements, bouquets and more. Then when she upped sticks and headed to Southampton , she did much the same and worked in a greengrocer before setting up her own business in her own premises, over 25 years ago. Love talent and keen attention to detail is exactly what she puts into every single flower order and delivery that comes her way. Together with the brightest freshest lushest blooms available. Carol loves the beauty and versatility of flowers. Very little else can convey so many different and varied emotions. Flowers are her life and she enjoys links for supplying flowers in the community creating beautiful remembrance wreaths for the local church of St John and for the local authority council. Living and working in such a beautiful area. Working with a young lady who she is hoping will take the step into getting more formal training and other than that, Carol and their delivery driver make up the ABC team. Carol loves nothing more than pottering around in the shop and can literally lose track of time. Many locals are on first name terms with her and during the pandemic of 2020 Carol did her part in looking after the older residents making sure they were taken care of for shopping or just some support.
